‘Twilight’ helmer Catherine Hardwicke will direct the CBS legal drama entitled ‘Reckless’. The show marks Hardwicke’s first serious Television venture aside from her one time directing stint on AMC’s ‘Western Hell On Wheels’. The show follows a love affair between a Yankee litigator and a Southern City Attorney who must work through both their attraction to one another and a police sex scandal that has them butting heads. Reckless will play out with Charleston, South Carolina in the backdrop. CBS TV Studios will produce the project with ‘Ghost Whisperer’ producers Ian Sander and Kim Moses. Aside from Hardwicke’s recent deal with the CBS legal series, no other details regarding the series have been released just yet.
In addition to her work on the Twilight, Hardwicke is also known for her work on the films ‘Thirteen’ with Evan Rachel Wood, ‘Lords of Dogtown’, ‘The Nativity Story’, ‘Red Riding Hood’ and most recently ‘Plush’. The 2013 thriller follows “a psychologist who can see the memories of his patients,” IMDb states. Actress Emily Browning (Sucker Punch) stars alongside Xavier Samuel (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), Cam Gigandet (Easy A) and Frances Fisher (Titanic).
