While everyone’s roaming the convention center floor and waiting in line for Hall H, why not give something a little different a go at Comic Con? The folks from Legendary Entertainment have taken a building on J Street and turned it into the Godzilla Encounter, an opportunity to experience what it’d be like should you find yourself in the middle of a gigantic atomic creature attack.
Upon being admitted into the building, you get the chance to casually roam the streets of Tokyo, indulge in some sushi, and check out a collection of Godzilla memorabilia. However, when you’re told it’s time to go, it’s time to go, and you’re quickly ushered through the street and into a new area of the facility, supposedly safe from the impending attack.
ShockYa.com had the opportunity to meet Legendary Entertainment’s Barnaby Legg and preview the Godzilla Encounter. You can catch our quick chat as well as some footage from the Tokyo portion of the event in the video below, but you’ll have to attend yourself if you want to see what happens when the sirens go off and the beast is unleashed.
