There’s something cool about a film full of cars that get banged up, and as you can see from the images coming out of Warner Bros.’ upcoming action-thriller, “Getaway,” there’s going to be a ton of car flips, cars on fire, and cars doing “Dukes of Hazzard”-esque jumps. Basically, it’s just about everything you’re looking for in a car-filled action-thriller.

Check out the pictures and new trailer from the film below the post. I think this film just might be the best ending note for this summer action/blockbuster season. It’s a good way to blast into fall, full of fire and explosions.

“Getwaway,” from Warner Bros. Pictures and Dark Castle Entertainment, stars Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez and Jon Voight. The film is directed and produced Courtney Solomon (“An American Haunting”).

“Former race car driver Brent Magna (Hawke) is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake, taking it and its unwitting owner (Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.”
