James Franco’s friends and co-stars have teamed up to satirize not only the ‘This Is the End’ star, but also each other in two new clips from the upcoming ‘Comedy Central Roast of James Franco.’ The clips include Jonah Hill talking about Bill Hader’s post-‘Saturday Night Live’ success, and Jeff Ross discussing what he learned from Seth Rogen’s mall cop comedy, ‘Observe and Report.’
The ‘Comedy Central Roast of James Franco’ is set to have its world premiere on the basic cable channel on Labor Day at 10pm ET/PT. The special, which was filmed on Sunday at Culver Studios, was hosted by Roast Master Seth Rogan, who starred with Franco in such projects as ‘Freaks and Geeks,’ ‘Pineapple Express’ and ‘This Is the End.’ The roast also features some of the duo’s closest friends, co-stars and top comedians, including Hader, Hill, Ross Nick Kroll, Natasha Leggero and Sarah Silverman.
