Mirroring the nature of tease in the hit ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ book trilogy, Universal Pictures has released the first teaser poster for its anticipated film adaptation of the first novel. The upcoming movie version of author E.L. James’ book is scheduled to be released on February 13, 2015 in theaters. The movie is being directed by ‘Nowhere Boy’ helmer Sam Taylor-Johnson.
The romance drama’s first official poster is a gray-tinted image of Irish actor Jamie Dornan, who portrays the title character, Christian Grey, in a fitted suit. Standing with his back to the camera and facing the Seattle skyline, the poster also features the tagline, “Mr. Grey Will See You Now.” The line refers to the statement made to the innocent Anastasia Steele, who’s being played by Dakota Johnson, the first time they meet in his office.
Universal will debut billboards of the first poster in five cities across America. The cities include New York (Grand St. and 6th Ave), Los Angeles (Wilshire Blvd. and Gayley), Chicago (LaSalle and Hubbard), San Francisco (Mission St. and 6th) and Christian’s hometown of Seattle (1st St. and Wall St.).
