See the growing tension between Detectives Martin Hart and Rustin “Rust” Cohle in a new preview clip from HBO’s drama series, ‘True Detective.’ The video, titled ‘Lawn,’ shows Martin, played by Woody Harrelson, tell his partner, portrayed by recent Golden Globe and SAG Award-winner Matthew McConaughey, not to mow his lawn. Not only does Martin insist that he can take care of his own property, but he also tells Rust he doesn’t want him visiting his house when he’s not home.
‘Lawn’ was released in anticipation for tomorrow night’s episode of the acclaimed anthology show on the premium cable network. The third installment of the eight-part season, which is titled ‘The Locked Room,’ will air at 9pm.
HBO has released the following official synopsis for ‘True Detective’:
‘True Detective’ is written by Nic Pizzolatto and directed by Cary Fukunaga. It centers on two detectives, Rust Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) and Martin Hart (Woody Harrelson), whose lives collide and entwine during a seventeen-year hunt for a serial killer in Louisiana. The investigation of a bizarre murder in 1995 is framed and interlaced with testimony from the detectives in 2012, when the case has been reopened.
