Video footage of a legal deposition by Justin Bieber has attracted huge attention on the internet – after it showed him clashing with a lawyer over allegations against the singer.
The 20 year old star is facing a lawsuit that claims he instructed his bodyguards to confront a photographer, who was then assaulted.
Bieber was called to Miami last week for a formal hearing, footage of which was obtained by TMZ and posted on YouTube.
The star is seen rocking in his chair impatiently and he tells a lawyer: “I don’t have to listen to anything you have to say.”
Bieber was then asked: “Do you remember being in Australia ever?”
He shrugs dismissively and responds: “I don’t know if I’ve been to Australia. Have I been to Australia?”
In fact, the singer was there just three months ago and has performed there several times.
There are several different segments of the legal interview – including the one embedded below – which are now plastered over YouTube. Together the clips have run up well over a million plays.
The singer is being sued by photographer Jeffrey Binion, who claims one of the Bieber’s bodyguards choked him and took his camera equipment in June 2013.
It has been alleged that Bieber ordered his minder to seize Binion’s memory card after the photographer tried to take a picture of the star outside a recording studio.
