It seems rumors that Scarlett Johansson is pregnant may be true – after a Marvel Studios executive confirmed that shooting schedules for The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be rejigged to take into account the baby news.
Scarlett, 29, has been keeping tight-lipped about her condition, despite a source recently telling Us Weekly: “She’s about four months along. The baby was a welcome surprise!”
Now Marvel’s President of Production Kevin Feige has reportedly told the Collider website that the forthcoming baby won’t affect the script of the 2015 Avengers movie – but it will mean that some of Scarlett’s scenes are rearranged.
Feige was quoted as saying: “’Well my first reaction was I was very happy for her and very excited for her.
“My second reaction was we’ve got to move some pieces on the chess board around schedule-wise. But we didn’t change the script at all, which is sort of the most important things for us in terms of the storyline.
“I think the goal is for us to sit here talking about the fact that you would never know that Black Widow was pregnant during the filming of the movie when you see the final version of ‘Avengers 2’.”
Scarlett – who has a 31 year old fiancé, Romain Dauriac – is expected to give birth in August.
