“Community” is still chug-chug-chugging along and it seems to be re-finding its groove. Perhaps the fact that a new special episode is coming might further cement the return(?) of America’s favorite show about a community college. The special episodes have become a hallmark of “Community”–the stop-motion Christmas episode, the “Pulp Fiction” episode, the western episode, and others are seen as benchmarks for the show. So what’s the latest special episode? Well, if you’re a “G.I. Joe” fan, you’ll love it.

“Community” is going back to the 1980s to revisit the cheesy-awesome “G.I. Joe” cartoons with “G.I. Jeff.” As to what is actually going down in this episode isn’t really known; the only tidbits Entertainment Weekly could get from the show’s executive producer Chris McKenna is that the group is going “on a ‘Wizard of Oz’-type journey through the world of ‘G.I. Joe.'”

There might not be much news about the episode, but there is a cool clip featuring animated Britta (called “Buzzkill” in the show) and Abed (“Fourth Wall”) as they school some kids on why not to deface public property (and why Britta is a buzzkill). Take a look at it below the post.
