Some YouTube stars will soon become movie stars! Jesse Wellens and his girlfriend Jeana “PrankvsPrank,” Jack Douglass of “jacksfilms,” Joey Graceffa, Evelina Barry, Michael Gallagher of “Totally Sketch,” Steve Greene of “SteveGreeneComedy” and Chester See have signed on to star in “Bob Thunder: Internet Assassin.”
The Wrap reported that the film will tell the story of an assassin who seeks out YouTube stars and replaces his targets with robotic clones. The movie will also star more than a dozen major YouTube creators as well as feature cameos by Rampage Jackson and Janice Dickinson.
“Bob Thunder: Internet Assassin” is baesd on the web series “YouTube Assassin” by Joe Nation. Nation will also direct the film. FilmOn and Relativity Digital Studios are co-producing the project, with FilmOn as the financier. FilmOn’s Alki David will produce along with Relativity’s Kendall Rhodes. It is also worth noting that Dickinson and Jackson have also worked with David on their own FilmOn shows. David himself will also appear in the movie as the character Mr. Network. He describes his character as “The nasty CEO of FilmOn going up against YouTube.”

This is Relativity’s second digital project, the first being upcoming web series “Interns,” set to premiere in the fall.
