If you haven’t seen the new trailer for “Interstellar” yet, stop what you’re doing and watch it right now. It’s literally amazing.
The film is poised to be another hit for Christopher Nolan. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy, Topher Grace and David Oyelowo, the film tells the story of survival amid impossible odds. The description of the film, finally on IMDB, states that a group of explorers have found a wormhole and will defy the limitations of human space travel. Why are the explorers using the wormhole? They plan to use it find a new habitable planet for us Earthlings. who have destroyed our planet to the point of death.
As said above, the trailer is very astounding. I’d go as far to say that there are small tinges of “Prometheus” in the trailer and seems like it could answer some of the questions that “Prometheus” didn’t bother getting around to. Of course, I’m not saying it’s going to answer specific questions about the black goo and stuff, but general questions like how extreme space travel works, how another race of beings could find and populate another planet, why we believe ourselves to be the special snowflakes of the universe, etc.
In any case, you can watch the trailer below the post. “Interstellar” will be in theaters Nov. 7.
