NBC’s “Peter Pan Live!” starring Allison Williams and Christopher Walken is certainly an experience to watch. Also, since it’s live, it’s a perfect opportunity for the denizens of Twitter (including some entertainment outlets) to take to the platform and express some colorful commentary on the spectacle.
Some people made notice of one of the biggest undercurrents of the story–girls fighting over Peter Pan. Also commented on: Peter’s ambiguous relationship with Wendy, which vacillates between boyish crush and a slight Oedipal complex.
Women are really supportive of each other in this story. They don't vie for Peter's attention and approval at all. #PeterPanLive

If you really think about it, it's quite creepy: shoot a cute girl, sing to her in unison, ask her to become your mom? Hmmm. #PeterPanLive

People also called out how old the actors of the Lost Boys are. This leads to the question: How come there weren’t actual boys playing the Lost Boys?
It's so weird seeing two actual little boys standing next to grown men and a grown woman, all pretending to be little boys. #PeterPanLive

All I'm saying that these boys CLEARLY have already been through puberty. #PeterPanLive

Also, everyone watching got freaked out when the psychedelic-colored crocodile came across their screens.
It's official: I have apparently taken a whole lot of drugs. #PeterPanLive pic.twitter.com/d95LnRBhOj
