The action and drama are the ingredients that helped make STARZ’s “Da Vinci’s Demons” a hit, but the most important ingredients of all are the layered and mysterious characters that populate the show. A new bonus feature clip from the upcoming release of “Da Vinci’s Demons: The Complete Second Season,” features all of the characters you love (or love hating) and their character journeys. “Da Vinci’s Demons” comes from creator and executive producer David S. Goyer, also known for his work on action/comic book film hits like “Blade,” “The Dark Knight” and “Man of Steel.” The series stars Tom Riley as Leonardo Da Vinci, who is now central to a huge, mysterious plot for ultimate power. In the second season, Da Vinci is more determined than ever to find the answers he’s looking for, so much so that he travels to South America, Turkey and Naples to learn more.
“Da Vinci’s Demons” also stars Laura Haddock, Elliot Cowan, Blake Ritson, Lara Pulver and James Faulkner. “Da Vinci’s Demons: The Complete Second Season,” including bonus features like behind-the-scenes featurettes and a recap of the first season, will be available for $54.99 (Blu-ray) and $44.98 (DVD) March 3. The complete season is also available right now on digital platforms. Pre-book is Jan. 28. The third season of “Da Vinci’s Demons” will air in 2015 on STARZ.
