The news for “Zoolander 2” is coming fast and heavy after Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson’s runway walk during Paris Fashion Week. Stiller has been populating his Instagram feed with casting announcements and if you’ve been following his account, you’ll know that he’s added two more people to his fashion comedy.
Billy Zane, who played himself in the first film, is coming back. If he’s still playing himself or not is unclear, but the video Stiller posted to his account features Zane wearing a wig, pretending to be Hansel. You’ll see why he’s pulling a Hansel in the video embedded below the post.
Joining Zane is Penélope Cruz, who Stiller announced by posting a picture of Cruz as a child. No word on who she’ll be playing either, but one can assume she’ll be someone huge in the fashion industry.
Even though there’s still a lot in the air about “Zoolander 2” will contain, we do now know that Zoolander’s son will play a big part. Zoolander’s son, Derek Jr., will be played by Cyrus Arnold, who has been seen on Nickelodeon’s “Sam & Cat” and “Comedy Bang! Bang!”
