Supporting your most valued beliefs, especially when other people don’t approve of those notions, can be a harrowing experience. But the characters in the new drama, ‘Running Wild,’ are celebrating their ideals, no matter what obstacles they’re forced to overcome. The cast and crew of the film also honorrf those personal views as they celebrated the story at last night’s Los Angeles premiere.
SP Releasing and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, in association with ESX Productions and Protect the Harvest, celebrated ‘Running Wild’s upcoming distribution at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood. Following the screening, there was a private after party held across the street at Tinhorn Flats Saloon & Grill. The premiere was held before the movie is set to be released in select theaters and On Demand this Friday, February 10.
Those attached to the drama who made an appearance at the Hollywood premiere were actress Dorian Brown Pham, director Alex Ranarivelo, writer-producer-actress Christina Moore, actor-producer Ali Afshar, executive producer Forrest Lucas, Michael Girgenti, John Ducey, Seth Coltan, Jessica Uberuaga, Michael Wiseman and John Specht. There were several special guests who also attended the premiere, including Missi Pyle, Jane Seymour, William Fichtner, Jeff Probst, Annabelle Stephenson, Annabelle Kavanagh, Allison Paige and Brett Davern.
‘Running Wild’ tells the story of a young widow, Stella Davis (Pham), who’s trying to save her ranch following her husband’s fatal car crash. She creates a convict rehabilitation program, working with a herd of wild horses that have wandered onto her property. She did not anticipate the greed, bureaucracy and vanity that she must overcome to heal the convicts, the horses and ultimately herself.
