Since the original soundtrack for the first “Guardians of the Galaxy” featured a handful of pop songs from the 70s, it looks like “Vol 2” will do the same, plus DAVID HASSELOFF!! I’m a big fan of ELO, Cat Stevens, and Sam Cooke, so it’s not hard to see how the sequel might top the first movie. It will be interesting to see how director James Gunn will use these songs throughout the movie, but I’m with it!
Set two months after the first film, the Guardians of the Galaxy travel throughout the cosmos and struggle to keep their newfound family together, while helping Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage.
