One of the most iconic things about Wonder Woman is her Lasso of Truth. Originally called “The Magic Lasso of Aphrodite,” Wonder Woman uses it to get someone to tell her the truth or obey her command. There’s no doubt that we’re going to see Lasso of Truth in action in the new superhero movie from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment coming this June.
From the early buzz surrounding “Wonder Woman,” it seems that this movie would be the first good entry in the new DC Expanded Universe. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” were massive disappointments, although they were box office hits, “Wonder Woman” will be surely a hit with fans and critics alike.
Wonder Woman is an origin story illustrating the transformation of a young Princess Diana into the greatest female warrior of all time.
The new superhero movie from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Lucy Davis, Connie Nielsen, and Robin Wright as General Antiope.
“Wonder Woman” hits theaters on June 2.
