With the release of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” *coming* up in a few weeks, Sony is really ramping up its marking campaign for the new superhero movie.
While it’s a Sony movie, Marvel Studios/Disney had a big creative hand in making it. There have been movies that were distributed by two studios before, but it’s rare that two join forces to actually make one.
This movie is like The Avengers of moviemaking, as two of the biggest studios come together to make something new and exciting for fans around the world. The new movie poster represents that anticipation. I mean, c’mon. Spider-Man *AND* Iron Man are on the same movie poster!! If that can’t get you excited, I don’t know what will…
Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important is threatened.
The new superhero movie stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.
Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” hits theaters everywhere on July 7.
