A terrifying and malevolent being who has secretly built her strength over millennia is finally unleashing her signature terrors, which are defying human comprehension. Her ancient evil has been unleashed after centuries of captivity, so her lust for revenge threatens to destroy the world. The title antagonist in the recent action movie, ‘The Mummy,’ is releasing her vengeance on the humanity that shunned her so long, with its upcoming home release.
The Mummy,’ which is now available on Digital, is also set to be distributed on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand this Tuesday, September 12, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The release features more than an hour of never-before-seen bonus features, including deleted and extended scenes; ‘Cruise & Kurtzman: A Conversation Rooted in Reality,’ during which lead actor Tom Cruise and director-producer Alex Kurtzman discuss the making of ‘The Mummy;’ and ‘Life in Zero-G: Creating the Plane Crash,’ during which Cruise, his co-star, Annabelle Wallis, and the rest of the crew shoot the incredible plane sequence. The bonus features for the adventure film’s home release also includes ‘Meet Ahmanet,’ during which actress Sofia Boutella shares the excitement of reinventing a monster icon; and ‘Cruise in Action,’ which offers a behind-the-scenes look at Cruise’s most memorable ‘Mummy’ stunts. ‘The Mummy’s home release also includes feature commentary with Kurtzman, Boutella, Wallis and their co-star, Jake Johnson.
