The dead are coming back to life to seek vengeance on the people who wronged them while they were alive in the upcoming horror movie, ‘Day of the Dead: Bloodline.’ In celebration of the recent announcement of the drama’s release in theaters and on VOD and Digital HD on January 5, 2018, the movie’s distributor, Saban Films, has also unleashed a new teaser poster and still.

‘Day Of The Dead: Bloodline’ is a a reimagining of George A. Romero‘s 1985 cult classic, ‘Day of the Dead.’ The new take on the tale was directed by Hèctor Hernández Vicens, and written by Mark Tonderai and Lars Jacobson. The movie stars Johnathon Schaech, Sophie Skelton, Marcus Vanco and Jeff Gum.

The latest reimagining of ‘Day of the Dead’ is set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world, in which a former med school student is tormented by a dark figure from her past. The only thing is, her tormentor’s a half-human, half-zombie hybrid who’s hell-bent on destroying her world.
