Jediism is more than just fandom and a religious way of thought for its members. Each new initiate makes it their personal crusade to better their world, and offer spiritual connection to everyone they encounter, much like they receive. That devoted acceptance is highlighted in the newly released documentary, ‘American Jedi.’
In honor of the film’s distribution On Demand, including iTunes, from Freestyle Digital Media, Shockya is exclusively debuting a new clip. The video delves into the world of what it’s like to be a real-life Jedi, including how Jediism completely accepts people of all sexual orientations.
‘American Jedi’ was written and directed by Laurent Malaquais, who chronicles real life Jedi who follow the Jedi path that’s included in the ‘Star Wars’ mythology. The movie focuses on three Star Wars fans who become candidates for knighthood. They must confront the darkest issues from their past in order to be accepted into a real-life Jedi community. The documentary features Opie Macleod, Perris Cartwright, Michael Hannigan, Ross Greenberg and Gabriel Calderon, who discuss their experiences with Jediism.
