Lucy Hale and Tyler Posey are discovering that the game is real in the new official trailer, poster and stills from the upcoming supernatural thriller, ‘Truth or Dare.’ The drama’s assets were released by its distributor, Universal Pictures, which is set to release the film in theaters on April 27.
‘Truth or Dare’ was directed by ‘Kick-Ass 2’ helmer, Jeff Wadlow, who also served as an executive producer. The filmmaker also co-wrote the script with Michael Reisz, Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach, which is based on a story created by Reisz. The plot follows a game of “Truth or Dare” among friends, which initially seems to be harmless. But it ultimately proves to be deadly when someone—or something—begins to punish those who tell a lie—or refuse the dare.
The horror movie was produced by Jason Blum, whose production company, Blumhouse Productions, worked on the thriller. In addition to Hale and Posey, the thriller also stars Violett Beane, Nolan Gerard Funk, Hayden Szeto and Sophia Taylor Ali.
