The Buddha design concept teaser for ‘The Great Buddha Arrival’
‘Godzilla’ fans can rejoice, as a reunion of several of the actors of the legendary franchise have joined forces for another epic sci-fi movie, ‘The Great Buddha Arrival.’ The latest addition to the film’s roster of performers is Robert Scott Field, Shockya can report in an exclusive casting announcement.
Field first made a name for himself in the 1991 action drama, ‘Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah,’ as he quickly became a fan favorite. The news of his latest role comes after the reveal of the casting of legendary ‘Godzilla’ actor, Akira Takarada, and ‘Godzilla’ series regular, Shelley Sweeney. The cast for the upcoming movie also includes Masanori Kikuzawa, ‘Godzilla Final Wars’ stars Yoshihiko Otsuki and Junichiro Nirasawa, Kazuma Yoneyama, Japanese rapper Yuma and Takashi Yasuda.
The Great Buddha Arrival’ is being directed and produced by Hiroto Yokokawa, who also co-wrote the script with Yuki Yonezawa and Kazuma Yoneyama. The big Buddha statue that will be included in the fantasy film was designed by Keisuke Yoneyama, and the concept art was created by Takuma Asai.
