While some harrowing epidemics seem as though they don’t directly affect everyone, they ultimately prove to influence the lives of all to some degree as they sweep society. That’s unfortunately the case with the heroin epidemic in America, which is reflected in the new drama, ‘Shooting in Vain.’ The film, which is told through the eyes of a struggling artist who lost the love of his life, is highlighting the effects of the drug on the young man in its newly released first trailer and poster.
The release of the movie’s assets are helping to support its World Premiere at the Dances With Films festival in Los Angeles. The premiere is being held on Thursday, June 14 at 7:15pm at the TCL Chinese Theatres.
‘Shooting in Vain’ was directed by first-time feature filmmaker, Jared Januschka, who also served as a producer. The drama was written by D.H. Nelson, and stars Sebastian Gregory, Isabel Lucas, Alexandra Park, Ryan Shoos and Diana Hopper.
The following synopsis has been released for ‘Shooting in Vain’:
