The line between dreams and reality is beginning to unravel for actress Natalie Knepp’s character, Leigh, in the upcoming psychological thriller, ‘Impossible Monsters.’ In honor of the movie having its World Premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, California on Saturday, March 9, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the drama.
The clip follows Leigh as she awakens and gets out of bed, and walks into the living room. She initially smiles at the man who’s standing near the window, but when he turns and walks out of the shadows, she becomes concerned over his intentions.
Nathan Catucci wrote and directed ‘Impossible Monsters.’ In addition to Knepp, the thriller also stars Tony Award nominee Santino Fontana (star of the highly anticipated Broadway production of ‘Tootsie,’ Disney’s ‘Frozen’), Devika Bhise, Donall O Healai, Geoffrey Owens, Dennis Boutsikaris and Laila Robins. The movie was produced by Dorottya Mathe, Jonathan Burkhart and Nathan Catucci.
‘Impossible Monsters’ follows Dr. Rich Freeman (Fontana), an ambitious and well-liked psychology professor, pursues a sleep study with a focus on nightmares, dreams and sleep paralysis – the success of which would result in a lucrative grant. As the line between dreams and reality blur, a member of the study is murdered, and everything begins to unravel, leaving Dr. Freeman fighting to make things right.
