Actor Brian Emond has embarked on studying ‘The Vice Guide to Bigfoot’ before his protagonist in the new paranormal comedy sets out on the most important assignment of his career: tracking the title mythical creature. His journey is being presented in the newly released official trailer and poster for the movie, which is set to have its World Premiere this Friday, October 25 at the Austin Film Festival.

‘The Vice Guide to Bigfoot’ was directed by Zach Lamplugh in his feature debut. The helmer also co-wrote the script with Emond. In addition to the two scribes, the movie also stars Jeffrey Stephenson, Nicholas Hollins, Dexter Ferguson and Jenna Kannell.

The following synopsis for ‘The Vice Guide to Bigfoot’ has been distributed by the Austin Film Festival:

Emond plays a hopelessly millennial reporter on the most important assignment of his career: finding Bigfoot. But after following a prominent cryptozoologist into the Appalachian foothills, he’s forced to answer the question, Is a good story worth dying for?

After ‘The Vice Guide to Bigfoot’ premieres on Friday at 9PM CT at the Alamo Drafthouse Village, it will have its second screening next Tuesday, October 29 at 9:15PM CT at the Galaxy Highland.
