Actor Dino Petrera stars in director Santino Campanelli’s comedy-of-age comedy, ‘Bully.’

Overcoming the world’s social obstacles is one of the most difficult challenges that most high school students must contend with throughout their adolescent learning experience. Knowing how to defend themselves, both physically and mentally, and keeping good company are some of the best ways they can do that throughout their secondary education. That often harrowing experience of finding their place in high school is explored in the new coming-of-age comedy, ‘Bully.’

In honor of ‘Bully’ now being available on VOD, courtesy of Gravitas Ventures, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the film, which is titled ‘Food.’ The clip features lead actor Tucker Albrizzi’s protagonist, Jimmy Mulligan, as he tries to cheer up his classmate, Bobby, who’s played by Dino Petrera. The duo are both incessantly bullied by their popular classmate, Miles, who’s portrayed by Jack DiFalco, and his friends. After an incident in one of their classes, Jimmy offers to buy Bobby food, which he claims always cheers him up whenever he’s targeted by the popular crowd.

‘Bully’ was directed and produced by Santino Campanelli. In addition to Albrizzi and Petrera, the movie also stars Ron Canada, Jack DiFalco, Vincent Pastore and Danny Trejo,.

Gravitas Ventures has released the following synopsis for ‘Bully’:

A coming-of age comedy about Jimmy (Albrizzi), a quiet, heavy-set high school kid who is constantly tormented by the resident school bully Miles (Jack DiFalco) and his cronies. After an altercation on his way home from school lands him a chance meeting with former professional boxer “Action” Jackson (Canada) and trainer Manny (Trejo), Jimmy decides to learn how to fight back.
