Visiting different societies can be one of the most thrilling adventures a person can take-unless that experience literally puts their life in danger. That’s certainly the case for television presenter Ade Adepitan on his docuseries, ‘The Travel Show.’
In addition to being a broadcaster, Adepitan is an accomplished wheelchair basketball player, for his club, Milton Keynes Aces. He’s also a member of the Great Britain team that won the bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, and the gold medal at the 2005 Paralympic World Cup in Manchester.
Adepitan is featured on the upcoming episodes of ‘The Travel Show,’ which is set to air today from 9:30am-10am on the BBC News channel on Filmon TV. On the show, the adventurer is in the Maldives as he looks back on some of his favorite recent ‘Travel Show’ stories.
